Fourth rule - keep your countenance even throughout the game. This means that if you grow suddenly silent after being an annoying chatterbox throughout the game, someone will know that something is up. You can hear them all folding. Always keep the same personality spark alive. This means that if you are dull throughout the game, do not become suddenly friendly and lively if you are dealt a Royal and vice versa. Fifth rule - play limit games. You are better off to play limit games and tournaments so that you can only lose so much money. One of the biggest mistakes people make is that they keep tossing money into a game when it is clear they are on a losing streak. Do not be afraid to walk away if you keep losing. You can always come back. Poker involves skill unlike any other game you find in a casino. If you follow simple rules and learn to master these skills, you can make a fortune. |
